VBS

Highbridge Summer (Vacation Bible School) program is a yearly, one-week program that provides fun and biblical instructions around a yearly central theme.  For children between the ages of 4-15 the program is usually the last week in August from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The program provides lunch and a safe place for children after summer camp.   Click here to view VBS 2020.

2nd Saturday Outreach

One of church’s most instrumental ministry that allows the church to stay connected to the Community is its 2nd Saturday Outreach Program.  The monthly outreach program provides worship, fellowship, a hot fellowship meal, clothing and bags of food to take home.  The ministry also provides resources and information to improve the quality of life for Highbridge residents through partnership with other agencies.  Our in-house nurses provide blood-pressure and other testing and follow-up.

Empowering the Highbridge and Bronx Communities with life-enriching programs and skills for a successful future

The Highbridge Community Neighborhood center was created to provide educational services for adults and youth.  In 2017 the program launched an afterschool program for elementary students, 3rd to 5th grades, to provide one-on-one tutoring with a focus on reading, writing and math.  Visit us on Facebook at Highbridge Community Neighborhood Center.

Missions (Nigeria, Haiti, Local)

Highbridge Community Church is committed to mission both abroad and at home.  Since 2006 through its Nigerian members the church has partnered in ministry in Ibo, Nigeria, assisting in completing a library in 2010, working with Elementary schools and continues to partner to provide medical resources and evangelism.  In 2017 the church joined in partnership to provide ministry to children in Haiti while continuing to support local and denominational missions.
